UBS is one of the preeminent
global wealth management businesses in the world serving private, institutional and corporate clients. With a 150-year legacy, UBS recognizes the importance of establishing good relationships between clients and its more than 6,000 wealth managers. One of the key components of creating lasting relationships is face-to-face interaction with clients.
Sitting at their desks, UBS’ wealth managers have access to 30 years worth of enterprise data. UBS asked Post+Beam to come up with a way to make the $1 billion worth of legacy infrastructure and big data into a portable, useful and smart tool for its wealth managers.
Our first step was to audit the UBS system and identify the client information that was most relevant
to the wealth managers. Next, we took all of this vital information and created a system that was not only customizable for each advisor but also customizable for each of their clients. The result was a powerful, secure, and intuitive iPad application that accesses up-to-the-minute client profile and account information. Wealth managers are seamlessly notified of their clients’ changing portfolio, holdings shifts, or even their birthday. Now, UBS’ mangers are provided with more engagement opportunities in ways previously unseen in the market.
